In-Person Classes at Aspire Pilates in Keego Harbor, MI

Erica Cheok

Greetings! Here’s a little about myself:

I’ve been certified and teaching yoga and meditation techniques for over 16 years. I started my journey when I was a sophomore in high school and I decided to convert to Buddhism. After graduation I took a course on Stress Management at college in 2005. The effects of proper stress management were life changing to for me. In 2008, after one beginners yoga class series, I signed up for Yoga Teacher Training with Michael Johnson and Stephanie Johnson through Clearlight Yoga Shala. Since 2008 I have taken many more teacher trainings, including Yin Yoga teacher training and Children’s Yoga teacher training courses.

I am also a certified personal trainer and nutritionist. I aim to make my students feel safe and educated about their bodies as best I can.

My mission is to bring peace, clarity, focus, and joy to my students through yoga, mediation, and yoga-inspired fitness.

“Erica customizes every workout to meet my needs. She is excellent with the small muscles that I know very little about but she keeps me healthy and strong!! She is great for all levels!!”

-Christina Day Krane

“Erica is an excellent trainer! She is very skilled, and pleasure to work with and talk to. I also love her yoga classes. She gives individual attention and help everyone to learn and enjoy the class. Highest recommendation.”

-Sarah Yousif Benjamin

In my 10 years of practicing yoga, Erica is my absolute favorite instructor. She is a positive support system in her vast knowledge of asanas and their physical, mental and spiritual benefits. She is sensitive to each student’s needs and helps craft the perfect practice for your individual body. Her yoga classes are always the perfect balance between a workout and a therapeutic time to de-stress, unplug, and get back to your roots.
